I finally made it to Acorn Street, a Street I heard so much about, the most photographed Street of all in Boston. Indeed! It was a busy street with tourists and photographers. Couples walked up and down photographing their romantic moments. Too bad I couldn’t get the whole street. It was late in the day and there was a residential car parked right in the middle locking a picturesque view.
I appreciate a little moment like this killing two birds with one stone. I was able to unwind from the end of a work day walking around the Beacon Hill area, admiring those beautiful old houses, doors, flower boxes, and watching people at the same time working on my creative outlets. After the photos were taken this mom was on the run again (home to the husband and kids).
The rain last night reminded me of back home, the rumbling sound of raindrops on the aluminum roof in the afternoon taking me into afternoon naps. Boston is still cold. It is already June but feels like April.
